Welcome to Western Hills Elementary School!

Established in 1961 to serve the growing community of West Fort Worth, our school began its journey in a portable building before our permanent campus opened in 1966 under our dedicated first principal, Mr. Everett Hackworth.

Over the decades, Western Hills has continuously evolved to best serve our neighborhood families. Today, we are proud to operate as a fully unified campus, welcoming students all the way from Pre-K through 5th grade. By bringing all of our elementary grade levels together under one roof, we provide a seamless, supportive, and continuous educational journey. Our staff is dedicated to fostering a warm, collaborative environment focused on academic growth, community pride, and student success.
