I moved to Texas 3 years ago with my husband and four children to be closer to family. Outside of school, I love spending time outdoors with my family through hiking and camping. I have 2 biological sons and 5 other grown children I raised as my own and 10 grandchildren! Linda Davis, LMSW, is the Communities In Schools Program Manager at Western Hills Elementary School, where she is dedicated to helping students and families overcome challenges and thrive both in and outside the classroom.

Linda earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in social work from Tarleton State University. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships with students and their families and connecting them with the support, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed.

Through her work with Communities In Schools of Greater Tarrant County, Linda provides individualized support for students facing academic, attendance, behavioral, and personal challenges. She also facilitates life-skills groups, connects families with community resources, and provides support with basic needs, housing, medical resources, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution.

Linda believes that every student deserves a strong community of support. Her goal is to empower students to stay in school, achieve their goals, and develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in life.
